Vacationing in Taiwan Food Frenzy Epi 25. More Awesome Food Court Food. Hot Plate Noodles with Beef in a spicy black pepper sauce with a fried egg and assorted vegetables on the side. All for less than USD$5.00. I would say it was lacking in flavor from the black pepper sauce that should have been spicy with a subtle sweetness. The noodles were also not the right kind that you traditionally get at a local street vendor in Taiwan. This isn’t the best black pepper steak hot plate dish I’ve ever had, but it sufficed my hunger.
